Today I’m sharing a curated list of the angel investors behind many of the biggest AI funding rounds of 2026.
Cognition raised $2B at a $48B valuation. Lovable doubled to $13.3B. Fireworks AI, Together AI and Baseten raised more than $3.8B between them. And a new group of companies came out of stealth with some of the best-known founders in tech on their cap tables.
So we went through 20 of the most notable AI companies that raised in recent months and for each angel we included the essentials you need to research them or plan outreach:

So instead of just knowing who these angels are, you can also quickly understand why they matter, what kind of operator or founder they are and which breakout AI companies they’ve backed.
If you’re raising, these are the people who wrote personal checks into the companies everyone wants to back today.
