A 13-year-old victim. The President of the United States of America. A notorious pedophile with mysterious funds. A British billionaire. Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. An international cabal of wealthy men. A decades-long cover-up.
All are connected to the Epstein Files.
The Trump Administration refuses to comply with the Epstein Transparency Act, with Attorney General Todd Blanche abusing his position to protect his client and attack his enemies. Thankfully, a coalition of unlikely allies has emerged seeking transparency and accountability. Katie Phang is suing Blanche to release the records; Ellie Leonard is transcribing the files and mapping the players and institutions on Substack; Reps. Khanna and Massie keep talking about the Epstein Files; and investigative journalists such as Marilyn Thompson are using their experience to find new sources, unravel evidence, and create a narrative for the majority.
Thompson just published a blockbuster piece that connects billionaire James Goldsmith to Epstein going back to the 80s, the same decade in which a 13-year-old victim, Jane Doe 4, alleges Trump and Epstein sexually assaulted her. Epstein craved Goldsmith’s club of powerful men and women to ingratiate himself with the world’s elite. Goldsmith, who moved a chunk of his business to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, warned confidantes in 1987 that Epstein was a sexual deviant. Epstein rented a vacation condo on the island and allegedly used it to lure victims.
Thompson joins The Left Hook to discuss her latest piece and connect the dots.
