Greeting everyone. I assume you are watching television as I am. What we are seeing unfold tonight is extraordinary. We are performing at the very up end of what was possible for us tonight, and of course there is more to come. So, enjoy, fellow patriots, for nights like this don’t come along very often.
A few updates:
The House has flipped, and we are winning races the House Dems did not think they were going to win. In January we will have the first Black speaker in American history.
With Dr. Annie Andrews winning in South Carolina, James Talarico winning in Texas, and us having leads in many other Senate races, the Senate appears on track to flip tonight too. In the last few minutes as I’ve been writing races have been called for Gina Hinojosa, Sherrod Brown, Adam Hamilton, and Dr. Amy Acton too. Just holy shit fellow patriots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will also win governorships and state legislative races no one thought we could win. It is going to be a big night, an historic night. We are taking power away from MAGA all across the country - as we hoped.
And in January, in some kind of righteous justice, the leaders of America’s two most populous states, California and Texas, will have Hispanic governors for the first time in American history. Keisha Lance Bottoms will be the first Black woman to ever be governor in our history too…..
I could go on. But the margins we are all seeing tonight are stunning. It’s a clear blowout, a political earthquake, a clear repudiation of Trump and his historic abandonment and betrayal of the American people, of his corruption and illiberalism, of his “more for me and less for all of you” politics. MAGA as a governing ideology here and around the world has suffered an extraordinary - perhaps fatal - blow. We will be waking up in a very different country tomorrow. Democrats will have a clear mandate in Washington and all over the country to make things better and put things right. And Trump will have suffered one of the greatest losses an American political leader has ever suffered.
And no one has ever deserved it more.
We have watched the people of Hungary, Brazil, Serbia, and Israel do what needed to be done, and now the American people have done our part too. People will rejoicing in Europe now, in Ukraine too. For the Putin/Trump/Elon axis has suffered a mighty blow in recent days, and the global pro-democracy movement has taken a very important set of steps forward.

Friends, congratulations. We are having the election we all have wanted to have these last two years. Let us savor it, celebrate it, feel it deep in our bones. For, together, we have taken a critical step forward in our core mission here - which is to ensure there is a new birth of freedom here and everywhere in the years ahead.
I have never been more proud to be in this fight with all of you. And remember Hopium is hope with a plan. We don’t just hope tomorrow will better than yesterday.
