i’m happy you’re here… it just means, you’re ready for something different… you are prepared to move in a different direction… thank you for allowing me the chance to reach you where you are….
and now, i want to hold a mirror to you or to someone you know…
…there’s a kind of tired only women who love hard understand.
it’s the tired of explaining yourself to people who were never listening. of rereading a message four times to decide if the coldness was real. of lying next to someone and feeling more alone than when the bed was empty.
you’ve carried it so long you started calling it normal.
most women were taught that love happens to them. that if they’re patient enough, soft enough, understanding enough, the right one will notice. so you wait. and while you wait, you shrink. you call it compromise. you call it being a good woman.
…but love doesn’t find you. it finds the frequency you’re giving off.
if you’ve spent years broadcasting from fear, from “please don’t leave,” you keep attracting the people who are comfortable with you being afraid. not because you deserve them. because that’s the only signal they can pick up.
this isn’t about blame.
….you learned that frequency somewhere. but surviving love isn’t the same as receiving it.
so this year, you change the station. you stop reaching for love out of loneliness and start preparing for it out of wholeness. you stop auditioning. you start tuning.
that’s why i made the 365 day frequency journal. one page a day. one small act of returning to yourself. naming what you refuse to accept again. remembering who you were before the heartbreak.
it isn’t a promise that love arrives on a certain date. it’s preparation. so that when real love comes, you recognize it. and it recognizes you.
this is the last year of the loneliness that lives inside a relationship. the last year of waiting to be chosen before you choose yourself.
you’ve done that already. you don’t have to do it again.
start the year that ends the ache.
