Happy Sunday.
I learned something about myself this week. Apparently when I say, “I’m going to shut down for a bit,” what I mean is, “I’m going to write another Note, start researching something else, and then maybe go float in the pool.”
I did eventually make it to the pool. Once. For 30 minutes.
I also finally started putting together an actual content calendar because apparently ten thousand open tabs in my brain is not an organizational system. We’ll see how long I behave.
Starting next week, I’m planning subscriber-only Substack Lives, probably twice a month. I’m thinking 9–10 a.m. ET on either Mondays or Tuesdays — coffee, questions, history, current events, and whatever else we end up talking about. Let me know in the comments which morning you prefer.
