**A Chinese influence campaign involving more than 200,000 **bot accounts was recently uncovered on X, where the accounts were attempting to shape American public opinion on the construction of AI data centers.

According to the X Safety Team, “Within this farm, we found 200 accounts posting in a manner that could manipulate a legitimate debate about American AI and energy policy.”
