A citizen-scientist’s figure for the structure behind the Riemann zeta zeros — and the line of primes that answers them.

Prime numbers are the building blocks of every other number: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, and on. They look scattered. No simple formula tells you where the next one appears.
In 1859 Bernhard Riemann built a tool called the zeta function. Feed it a number, it returns another. At certain inputs it falls silent and returns zero. Those silent points are the zeros.
Riemann noticed that the important zeros all seemed to sit on one perfectly straight vertical line. He guessed that every important zero lives on that line. That guess is the Riemann Hypothesis.
Why it matters: the zeros behave like hidden notes. Add the notes together and you recover the irregular rhythm of the primes. If the zeros really do line up, the primes are not as wild as they look — their irregularity is tightly controlled. If even one zero sits off the line, the primes are more chaotic than we believe.
No zero off the line has ever been found. Computers have checked the first trillions of them. Checking examples is not proving a rule, which is why the problem is still open.
In everyday language: Riemann suspected that the apparently random primes are held in order by a single invisible straight line of silent notes. We still do not know whether he was right.
The conventional explanation above is the passport. It is not the figure. What follows is mine.
I am not a mathematician of any sort. I am a citizen scientist who imagines mathematics through visual images, hears it in patterns of music, and finds it in the natural world. That has taken me to places academics are unlikely to go. Among citizen scientists there is a long tradition of non-traditional ways of imagining the universe, and I work inside it.
What I offer is not a proof. It is a figure — a structure I perceive, stated plainly enough to be argued with.
The Riemann figure did not arrive on its own. It came out of a long investigation into the structure of light.
April 8, 2026. I recorded the first version of the perception: light as a flat sheet woven of braided threads. Not a metaphor chosen for prettiness — a shape I saw. In the same entry I noted that the braid mirrored the double helix of DNA and the lattices of microtubules.
April 12, 2026. I wrote the DNA connection down as my own hunch, before I had support for it.
Later, in published physics. Experimental work on entangled photon pairs, using orbital angular momentum, reports topological structures of up to 48 dimensions. The “at least 48 dimensions” in my writing comes from that measured result, not from invention. Related published work describes double-helix light singularities and chirality in structured light — the broad helical and topological resemblance between structured light and helical biological architecture is supported in the literature. The full identification of 48-dimensional light with DNA, and the extension of either into the Riemann, is my synthesis and remains mine.
July 2026. After first writing The Architecture of Light, I saw a structure inside the Riemann Hypothesis — a foundational structure the mathematics alone did not explain.
The order matters. Light first, Riemann after.
I first envisioned the structure as a gossamer-thin silk sheet draped over an exoskeleton we are not yet prepared to explain scientifically.
Before long the sheet dissolved. What replaced it was a low-friction fluid substrate capable of phase transition. That change is the whole move: a sheet drapes over a structure and reports it; a fluid can do something. It can pool, shear, and change state. The moment the sheet became fluid, the figure became an engine rather than a covering.
The statement, as directly as I can put it:
The line of non-trivial zeros is the line of downward-trending zeros, where torsional vorticity spins raw components of matter down gravitationally. That densified concentrate is sheared violently upward, where matter is forced into being against the upward torsional vorticity of the upward-trending vortices marking the line of non-random primes.
Read as stages:
1. Descent. The non-trivial zeros trace a downward torsional vorticity: raw components of matter carried gravitationally downward.
2. Accumulation. The descent pools. Raw potential gathers and compresses toward a maximum.
3. The shear plane. The concentrate meets a geometric boundary. This is the catalyst — the place where the two motions oppose.
4. Manufacture. At the boundary, matter is forced into being. Not transported there, not revealed there. Produced there, by resistance against the opposing shear.
5. Ascent. The upward torsional vorticity marks the line of non-random primes.
Descent, catalyst, ascent — one engine, two counter-rotating columns, and an internal boundary between them.
The claim that carries the weight is manufacture at the boundary. Concentration alone is not enough; any strong vortex concentrates. A cut through a cone reveals a conic section but does not manufacture it. Every visualization I have been sent so far preserves the flow, the tracer, the vortex, and the shear boundary, and then shows matter as a tracer marking the motion rather than as residue produced by it. That gap is the actual content of the hypothesis.
Two related processes in measured physics are the reason I keep pressing on it. In pair production, a gamma-ray photon meets a nucleus and, where energy is concentrated hard enough, an electron-positron pair condenses out of light. In exciton condensation, hidden internal structure organizes where none was visible. Neither is my model. Both are cases where something appears at a boundary rather than arriving through it.
Falsifier. If it can be shown that at the boundary densification never exceeds transport — that everything at the shear plane is accounted for by material carried in rather than material produced — the hypothesis fails as stated.
Status. Speculative structural hypothesis, argued from perception and analogy, not established physics and not a claim about the proof of the Riemann Hypothesis. The trillions of confirmed zeros remain positional evidence: a passport, not a glimpse of the reason.
