Back in June, Todd Blanche told Congress the Justice Department’s so-called Anti-Weaponization Fund was dead. I told you not to mistake that for the end of the payouts. Trump and his allies still wanted people they called victims of “weaponization” to be compensated, and killing one very public fund left them other ways to try.
