I went through the witness accounts, the suspect’s story — which keeps changing, by the way — and the basic firearm-safety principles that apparently just... didn’t exist in that vehicle.

Here’s the thing: when you put armed personnel on the street for a “crime crackdown,” the bare minimum is that they don’t create the exact kind of danger they’re supposedly there to prevent. This isn’t a gray area. This is Firearms 101.
