I have a suggestion.
Don’t throw away that slightly ridiculous idea you’ve had for years.
I’m serious.
That little thing you always wished existed, but never bothered explaining to anyone. Maybe it sounded too small, too strange, or simply not worth paying someone to build.
Keep it.
I think some of the most useful things we’ll make with AI will be those tiny ideas that nobody else would ever bother building for us.
And something has changed recently that makes this a lot more interesting than it sounds.
You can describe an idea in ordinary English and have AI turn it into working software. A proper little application, with buttons, pages, saved information, and features that do what you asked.
You can open it, try it, tell AI what feels wrong, and watch it make changes.
This is called vibe coding, and Claude Code has become one of the most interesting tools for doing it.
Anthropic released Claude Opus 5.5 in September 2026, with much stronger support for long coding jobs. Anthropic also says typical tasks cost around 40% less than with Opus 5.
But I find something else more exciting.
Claude Code can now work on an actual project. It can read the files, understand how things fit together, make changes, run the application, check what broke, and try to fix it.
You don’t need to explain every line of code.
And with its newer skills, memory, and automation features, you can teach it how you want your projects built.
The real opportunity is not just making websites faster.
It’s making software that fits exactly how you want to use it.
