What if Democrats win one or both Congressional chambers? And a few more state houses and governorships?
What then?
I think we need to hold We the People rallies every day in Washington DC.
Each state house, too.
Beginning 3 January 2027, I believe Americans ought to sign up and converge on Washington for a peaceful sit-in around the Capitol.
Take a day. A weekend. Or more.
Every day, representatives of WE THE PEOPLE could deliver a list of demands to members of Congress.
All day long, our politicians would know thousands of Americans were sitting right outside, demanding that they represent US.
At the end of each day, WE THE PEOPLE could rate their progress and attention to our demands.
I certainly don’t want bipartisanship, moving on, and rising above.
NO.
I don’t care what the regime does with them. That’s not the point.
The American people need to see politicians working for them to make a difference. We deserve to know our representatives are fighting for us.
I’ll write more about that idea on Wednesday.
Today, make sure you’re ready to vote.
If you’ve already voted, ensure your ballot has been received and, when available, counted.
If you live in an area where people can register and vote same-day, convince a few more of your connections to vote.
Check in with your neighbors.
Take care of yourselves and each other.
