Very difficult decisions for Democratic leadership.
Continuing with the theme of face-eating leopards eating faces, we now turn our attention to alleged “centrists” who have been protected, coddled, and elevated by the Democratic Party.
We have been told we need these “centrists” because they are “normie” Democrats who can win over “regular” Americans and will help defeat MAGA. They are allegedly necessary for gaining control of the House and Senate. They are preferred to the crazy progressives and Democratic Socialists, who are apparently a cancer even though they keep winning and represent the majority when it comes to their positions on health care, taxing billionaires, not funding Israel’s genocide, and refusing genocide.
These centrists include people like former Senators Manchin and Sinema who helped sink Joe Biden’s bold, progressive economic agenda. They include people like Rep. Jared Moskowitz, who describes himself as a “Ron DeSantis Democrat” and is further right than JD Vance on Iran. This includes Democrats such as Michigan’s Hillary Scholten, who is vote Blue no matter who…except when it comes to Abdul El-Sayed.
We really need these centrists who take money from AIPAC and Crypto and side with Republicans when it comes to national security and war. In fact, corporate America, including the media and political establishment, will gladly welcome them more than Hasan Piker, who must be condemned until the Day of Judgement.
However, what happens when the Centrist Face Eating Leopards start eating faces?
This is what happened last night when two centrists, Rep. Golden and MGP, defected from the party and helped beleaguered Republicans advance a procedural motion that includes condemning Democratic Socialists and praising Trump’s voter suppression SAVE ACT. Hakeem Jeffries was caught flat-footed and threw his whip under the bus, and Nancy Pelosi came out and very unsubtly took jabs at Jeffries’ lack of leadership.
Despite earlier promises today of punishing Golden and MGP, reports are coming out that they will remain unscathed. Why? Because we have bigger fish to fry! Namely, HASAN PIKER AND PROGRESSIVES!
