Greetings, friends, from the beautiful Mandali centre in northern Italy, where earlier today I shared this meditation. It touches what I feel is the very heart of what The Nature of Consciousness is about, and so I offer it here as a bonus before the final instalment of the series, which will follow next week.
You are the infinite. Whole, perfect, complete, in love and at peace. As such, you live in paradise.
As the infinite, you contain all possible things enfolded in potential within yourself. But you cannot know any of those things, because you cannot stand apart from them in subject–object relationship. Therefore, you freely consent to localise yourself within yourself as a finite mind or individual self, through whose perceiving faculties you bring forth the potential that lies unknown and unmanifest within you into existence. You do not do this out of ignorance or sin or delusion. You do it freely, out of love, for no reason.
