Climate: General Chi and his party arrived in good spirits, eager for discussions and visits, particularly to Sandia. Their own accounts indicated superb organization and orchestration of the trip. Rapport with General Xiong Guangkai appeared strong. All discussions were candid with minimal lecturing from either side.
