The wait is over! Last week, I published the results of my female body survey, but today is all about the men. This isn’t the first time I’ve done a survey on men’s bodies, but it is a far superior iteration of my initial survey. My first findings were pretty common sense: women liked slim, fit men. But I was unable to accurately show height, and because the body generator I used couldn’t make “unnatural” physiques, the most fit body in the survey was nowhere near gym bro tier. It was also unclear exactly how fit they liked the men. Would a small amount of muscle be enough, or would they want you in the gym four times a week?
Anyway, I was able to fix all of that with my new survey! This one showed men at five heights: 6’5”, 6’1”, 5’10”, 5’7” and 5’4”. I showed the height by using a 5’5” woman for scale. I also illustrated a variety of body types, meaning to illustrate the different variety of muscle and body fat percentage. For reference, all body types at the 6’5” height:
Now, I am fully aware that the muscular body type is generally unattainable without steroids, but that was the point. I also had female bodies that were unattainable without steroids or plastic surgery, and since my first survey caught heat for lack of extremes, I made sure to include some extremes here. I also know that “average” is not what the average American man looks like (the average American man is significantly overweight.) In this survey, “average” meant someone who was not fat, not thin, and had some muscle but not a lot, similar to the “average” woman from my female body examples.
And now, without further ado, the top ten bodies for straight women, with one surprising dark horse:
