My summer travels came to a close in early August, but I thought I’d share the rest of my fashion finds and fits before settling into my fall routine (surprising to nobody, fall is my favorite season. Basic Becky alert!)
So, starting with my vacation fits:
Bruges
You might know Bruges from the 2008 film, appropriately titled, In Bruges. This was a day trip from Paris via train. My husband and I actually went there in 2019, long before we had children, and it was a particularly memorable experience because a massive rainstorm hit while we were there, the streets were basically deserted, and we took shelter in some kind of underground pub and got extremely drunk.
This time, the city was basically unrecognizable. At first, we were like, “Wait, a lot of tourists are suddenly here!” and then we remembered that tourists have enjoyed Bruges for a while but we were lucky enough to encounter it for the first time on a day when nobody else wanted to be there.
Because I knew there would be a lot of walking, I tried my best to stay comfortable. I wore this really fun lime green Molehill-coded coord set from FRNCH. (Sadly, bought on clearance and no longer in stock.) For my shoes, I finally had an opportunity to bring out my Camper Twins, which were remarkably comfortable!
Antibes
Antibes was a bit of a longer trip. This was also the trip where I happened to meet up with at the beach, which was a spectacular coincidence. This was, however, not my finest outfit, I was mostly just throwing on random beach clothes—that top is literally a pajama top—because I thought posting a literal bikini shot here would be wildly inappropriate. (I do quite like Phoebe’s dress though.)
For an outfit I found slightly more bragworthy than wet beach pants, check this one out: some basic satin pull-on pants (also from FRNCH) and a navy gingham upcycled halter top that I found at an indie pop-up shop.
